Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. As a child, she was exposed to many classical music, as well traditional boleros. In addition, she was a fan of traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana is passionate about tangos and operas. In addition, she is a fan of drama performances. Ana began learning to sing and play instruments from an early age, along by her mother. She received more formal vocal training when she was 16 years old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. The singer continued her education in the field of music through the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. The singer performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young scholar and professional. In 2000, she emigrated to the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2007, she relocated to her current home in Southern California. The group she is in currently part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and regularly performs as a soloist of classic Latin American music at private concerts. Being a teacher and a musician she has a passion for several community initiatives due to her enthusiasm and enthusiasm for music. Ana was also an ex-member of Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful for the opportunity to share her passion and love for traditional Latin American songs with others as she hopes to instill a sense of for younger generations in order to keep this tradition of music lively and alive.Viva Mexico!
