Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has been able to make significant progress into Latin pop. In the year 2017 his hit track from 2016, Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. In 2017, he dropped ADN the first of his long-players to La Industria Inc. in Medellin. Its Top Latin Albums chart ranked the album at 8. Vaina Loca, which was one of the Top Five smash hit in 2010, also featured Noriel alongside Ozuna. The group released Dopamina, his chart-topping sophomore album in the years following. In 2021 he produced an duet with TINI's popular track Maldita Foto. The hit single La Bachata from 2000 was released in 2023. Turizo is a product of a household of music his mother and older brother are both musicians. In his interviews, he's described playing music as an obligation. He was taught how to play the saxophone, guitar, ukulele, and piano as when he was a child. At first, he wanted to become Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian encouraged him to take singing lessons from the help of a Cuban singer, he changed the direction of his career.
