Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri dixit is famous Indian actress, known for the roles she played in Hum Aapke Hai Koun. The actress was initially famous for her role in Tezaab from the 1980s, in which she co-starred alongside the veteran actor Anil Koopor. The next time she appeared on the screen was in Dil alongside Aamir. A middle-class family was raised in Mumbai she was able to learn dancing at a young age. At the age of 15, she started acting but had a difficult time as a majority films she made were not successful. She eventually found success and went on to become one of the most prominent actresses in the Indian film industry. Following her wedding ceremony, she took a short time off from her acting career before returning. In recent times, she was in a prominent part on the film Gulaab Gang. The film featured the challenges faced by women across India. Dixit has been nominated 15 times in the Filmfare Awards. She won 8 of these. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award given to civilians in India was awarded to Dixit. She also has a reputation for social activism.
